Introduction |
Dan Delaney is ready to teach you how to play the piano. Our teaching approach is divided into lessons, and we have provided a number of free lessons to get you started. Print the music and watch the video of Little Horsey, Hide and Seek, Sleepy Pony, or Long Lost Friends to get an idea of how we teach. After you have gone through the first lessons, you will have to become a member to receive the additional lessons that you need. Becoming a member also gives you access to more games, pictures, stories, and other fun stuff that will help young students maintain interest in the instruction. We believe that building an enjoyable site for kids will inspire them to keep coming back for their next lesson. The first segment of lessons is targeted at kids and their parents. These lessons outline the practice and training techniques that are so valuable in learning the piano. Take a look at these and learn various ways to make piano instruction easy and fun. Segment 2 starts the actual lessons on the piano with the videos from Dan. The first few lessons are provided free and should get the kids started. They provide a good measure of the quality of our instruction, and the enjoyment that can be had learning the piano. We also provide some free lessons from years one, two and three of the course to give you an idea of where we will take the kids in their instruction. We hope that you will enjoy using us as the starting point for teaching kids how to play piano. We also hope that you will join us, and through the use of our games, stories, pictures, chat, and simulcast areas, help build a piano instruction center that is fun for all kids. As a final note, PianoForKids.com is a good place for kids, and it also is a very good place for parents AND FOR TEACHERS. |
